To dry power and distribution transformers, they must be heated under vacuum in a controlled manner and water vapor must be removed. There are differences in size and system between the two furnaces.
For Power Transformers, a width of 3.5 meters is recommended, while a height of 4 meters and a length of 6 meters is suitable.
Because larger dimensions create transportation problems, on-site fabrication is possible. The drying ovens' vacuum and heating systems are modular, making them easy to transport. PLC control allows for the desired processes. The dimensions of the drying oven are determined by the designed transformers, and they are manufactured according to the maximum transformer size available.
The recommended width for drying distribution transformers is 4 meters, the length can be 5-6 and 9 meters.
3 meters is suitable for height and it is possible to carry out the oil filling process at the same time.
The vacuum system is flawless with its special type of dry vacuum pumps and water resistant structures that require little maintenance (oil change).
